Certificates

Mississippi Baptist Seminary & Bible College has long had as its objective the training of persons to serve the church without regard to past academic attainment. To this end, several non-degree undergraduate programs of instruction are offered.

 

Several programs, focusing on the praxis of ministry, are available for those interested in or qualify for the pastoral ministry but who choose not to pursue a degree program on the associate, baccalaureate, or master’s levels. All courses will be applicable toward advanced degrees.

A certificate is awarded when the student has successfully completed 18.0 semester hours in a given area. Certificates are awarded in the following areas.

• Biblical Studies

• Black Church Studies

• Chaplaincy

• Christian Education
